Wood-fired pizza in Žilina
We bake our pizza in a wood-fired oven in the eXtreme Park area by the Žilina water dam, a few minutes by car from the centre. The dough is left to mature, the mozzarella is fior di latte and the oven runs all day, so pizza works for lunch as well.
A wood-fired oven, not a tray in the oven
The oven burns wood and a pizza is done in a couple of minutes, which is why the crust is thin and the base has the spots that come from high heat. We bake all day, at lunchtime and in the evening.
What goes with pizza
We serve pizza bread and pizza sticks to share, and children have their own mini pizza. Everything else comes off the charcoal grill, so at one table there is something for people who do not want pizza.
