About Na Vodnom
We opened in February 2025 in the eXtreme Park area below the dam of the Žilina reservoir. We wanted a place you can come to for a weekday lunch, for pizza with the kids at the weekend or for a company event, always with calm instead of city noise.
The kitchen
We cook over charcoal and in a wood-fired oven. The standing menu has steak, beef cheeks, pork belly, chicken ballotine, duck breast, grilled trout and grilled prawns, and pizza with fior di latte mozzarella out of the oven. Alongside them bowls, beef tartare and desserts from our pastry chef. The standing menu changes with the seasons. On weekdays we prepare a lunch menu that changes every Monday, and at weekends a weekend special.
The space
Inside there are 90 seats under wooden beams, with another 80 on the terrace in the greenery below the dam. The venue can be booked out entirely, so a wedding or a company event has privacy here. We do not have a separate private room, celebrations take place in the main hall or on the terrace.
For families and dog owners
The kids corner is indoors, the playground and sand outside. We have high chairs, a kids menu and a changing table. Dogs are welcome at the table, indoors and on the terrace.
